Joint Annual Meeting of ÖPG/SPS/ÖGAA - Innsbruck 2009

Venue

The conference takes place at the Technik Campus in the Victor-Franz-Hess building (see google maps), which is named after Nobel laureate V. F. Hess, who got the Nobel prize in Physics in 1936 while being a professor at the University of Innsbruck. The address is: Technikerstraße 25, 6020 Innsbruck (city map).

The conference office is located near the entrance to the Victor-Franz-Hess building (see map).
The opening hours are: Tuesday (1.9.) 16:00 - 19:00 h, Wednesday - Friday (2.9. - 4.9.) 8:00 - 18:00 h.
During this time you can call the conference hotline at +43 664 812 5163.
All participants have to register at the conference office. There you get your name tag, the conference program ("Tagungsband") and a folder (with a city map and additional information about Innsbruck).

For presentations a beamer and a notebook will be available in each lecture hall. You can also use your notebook, but that should be the exception (please have your talk available on a USB stick or on CD).

The conference dinner takes place on Thursday at the restaurant Villa Blanka.
If you want to attend the conference dinner please click the corresponding button upon registration
(onsite registration for the conference dinner is not possible).
Special busses waiting at the bus stop (in front of the parking) will bring you there.
The first bus will leave at 18:45 h. Each time a bus gets full it will leave. The last departure of a bus going to the restaurant is at 19:15 h. The same procedure will be applied for the return trip: between 22:00 h and 23:00 h these buses will bring you back to town ("Marktplatz") and to the conference place ("Technik").

Public transport: here is information about the bus services and the time tables for all the bus lines.
For bus line O there is a bus each 6 minutes, for bus line T there is a bus each 15 minutes. Both lines pass by the conference place but go to different places in town.
